Hungarian TCM Association 

 

Hungarian Traditional Chinese Medicine Association was founded in 2002 by traditional Chinese doctors working in Hungary, Hungarian doctors and Chinese medicine enthusiasts, the chairman and founder is Prof Dr Yu Funian PhD.

The main goal of the association is furthering the development of traditional Chinese medical science and culture in Hungary and Europe.

 

In 2005 the Association joined the Association of Hungarian Medical Societies (MOTESZ) and the Beijing-based International Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Societies.

ACTIVITIES
  • Organizing scientific activities related to Chinese acupunture and pharmacology
  • Organizing educational activities for acupuncturists and Chinese pharmacologists
  • Organizing free consultations, examinations and other activities for popularizing TCM in order to facilitate the assimilation of Chinese people into Hungarian society
  • Publication of TCM related books and periodicals
  • Consultation in affairs related to Chinese medicine and pharamcology: providing Hungarian higher education with teaching personell and assisting the Hungarian Ministry of Health in matters regarding licencing standards.
  • Developing international scientific exchange in the fields if Chinese acupuncture and pharmacology, establishing cooperation with related Chinese and international organizations.
  • Developing trade of products related to the fields of Chinese acupuncture and pharmacology and health-preservation products
  • Defends the rights of its members and forwards their comments to the relevant authorities
  • Any further activities aimed at realizing the goals of the Association.
